Content writer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other writers and buyers regularly to develop content that ensures work meets Company standards and that deadlines are met
• Establish guidelines and share SEO writing best-practices with other writers and teams & produce best-in-class metadata across all websites
• Develop content for product descriptions, and technical spec sheets for the Company website
• Support the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns & Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
• Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
• Do the Price updates of all our products on our sites
• Partner with SEO Specialist to implement keyword strategies across all digital content
• Write keyword-heavy content that reflects established tone and voice guidelines
• Refresh blog and recipe content with keywords and new copy
• Ideation and creation of SEO copy blocks for website Landing and List pages
• Alt text tagging for brand websitesEditing and polishing existing content to improve readability
• Partner with engineering on the coordinated testing and release of new features to meet business needs
• Researching keyword and topic opportunities for emerging content and trends within the industry

Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of Fashion and Fabrics and Colors of products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic
• Knowledge and use of SEO tools like Google Analytics, AHREFS, SEMRush
• Knowledge of Excel and HTML, preferred
• Ability to work within a team and independently
• Experience in research, fact checking, copywriting, transcription, and data management
• Comfortable in writing on technical topics after adequate research

Experience

• 2 - 3 years of SEO experience optimizing E-commerce content with a strong knowledge of best SEO practices
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of writing E-commerce copy and web content
