About The Role

Helium SEO is seeking a skilled and self-sufficient Contract Content Writer to produce high-quality SEO content for diverse clients. This is a fully remote contract position offering consistent, ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Write new long-form (800-1,000 words) and short-form (250-400 words) content for client websites.
• Edit and revise drafts based on client feedback.
• Apply SEO fundamentals (keyword placement, internal linking, header structure).
• Utilize AI writing tools (specifically Claude) for content production.
• Execute independently from research to final draft.
• Submit completed content by Friday each week.
  
  

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in content or blog writing.
• Hands-on experience writing content with AI tools (Claude or similar LLMs preferred).
• Understanding of SEO basics (keyword usage, internal linking, header hierarchy).
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of tones, industries, audiences, and content types.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with LLM-forward content writing.
• Willingness to complete a short writing sample.
• Experience with tools like ClickUp, Slack, Dropbox, or Google Suite.
• Background in SEO content for B2B or B2C clients.
