Content Writer Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, compelling, and original content for various platforms such as blogs, websites, and social media.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to create well-informed and engaging articles.
• Assist in developing content strategies and writing copy for marketing materials such as email campaigns, brochures, and product descriptions.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, grammar, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Optimize content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and online visibility.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas and strategies.
• Help with content planning, scheduling, and maintaining the content calendar.
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to assess engagement and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new content best practices.

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt writing styles and tones.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and keyword research.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of content writing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or writing experience (blogs, articles, copywriting, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends.
• Basic knowledge of HTML or WordPress is a plus.
