Content Writing Specialist – US Blog Optimization (Remote)

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled SEO Content Specialist with native-level English writing skills to work on our USA-based blog. Your responsibilities will include three types of tasks:

• Optimizing existing content – updating meta titles, descriptions, and inserting assigned keywords naturally.
• Content rewamping – improving flow, readability, and SEO without changing the overall meaning.
• Content writing from scratch – creating original blog posts that align with assigned keywords, topics, and tone.

We need someone who understands how to blend keywords seamlessly, maintain natural readability, and apply LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords to enhance topical depth and search visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update meta titles and meta descriptions for blog posts based on keyword strategy.
• Edit existing blog paragraphs to insert assigned keywords naturally while maintaining readability.
• Rewrite or revamp older posts where required to improve structure, tone, or SEO.
• Write new blog posts from scratch following the given topic, keyword, and tone guidelines.
• Maintain native US English tone, grammar, idioms, and spelling across all content.
• Ensure cultural accuracy and writing style suitable for a US audience.
• Apply on-page SEO best practices without keyword stuffing or harming user experience.
• Use LSI keywords and related phrases to enhance content depth and topical relevance.
• Maintain brand voice consistency and proper formatting standards.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to align on keyword targeting and content updates.

Requirements:

• 100% fluency in US English – tone, idioms, spelling, and grammar.
• Proven experience in SEO content optimization, rewriting, and content writing for US-based blogs.
• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword integration, and LSI keyword strategy.
• Ability to edit line-by-line, revamp content, and write new posts independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to SEO and brand guidelines.
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
• Background in US-centric niches such as travel, lifestyle, parenting, or home improvement.
