Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with early starts, after-hours, or on-call work as required. Overtime is required when production schedules are full.
Job Overview
The Contents Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of contents restoration projects from start to finish. This is a field-forward, operational role within the restoration industry and differs from traditional construction or software project management positions. The role focuses on managing field execution, documentation for insurance companies, scheduling, and client communication to ensure projects are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do
- Manage contents restoration projects from pack-out through completion
- Estimate, plan, document, and close out projects accurately
- Coordinate job schedules using DASH, Slack, Monday.com, and email
- Track inventory, non-salvageable items, and job progress using iCAT
- Communicate professionally with clients, technicians, and insurance representatives
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Lead with a team-first mindset through mentorship and guidance
- Ensure documentation, inventory records, and photo logs are complete and accurate
- Collaborate with internal departments to keep projects moving
- Report directly to the Contents Division Manager
Qualifications
- One year of project management or restoration experience preferred
- Familiarity with Xactimate and MobileClaims strongly preferred
- Experience with iCAT, DASH, Monday.com, or similar project management software preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and client-focused
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- IICRC certifications (FSRT, CCT, or WRT) are a plus
Physical & Mobility Requirements
This position requires a combination of field activity, driving, warehouse coordination, and administrative work. The Contents Project Manager must be able to safely perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and climb stairs or ladders throughout the workday
- Perform repetitive motions related to packing, cleaning, and inventory handling as needed
- Work in residential and commercial environments affected by water, fire, smoke, or mold
- Tolerate exposure to dust, odors, temperature changes, and confined spaces
- Safely load and unload vehicles, move furniture, and maneuver boxes and equipment when required
- Drive between job sites, warehouses, and client locations
- Sit for extended periods while completing documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Use computers, tablets, and mobile devices throughout the workday
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, masks, respirators, and protective suits when needed
Additional Requirements
- Overtime hours should be expected when market demand requires and are paid in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening if applicable
