Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic Continuing Care Therapist and Program Manager to lead our Continuing Care program at The Rose House. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services while managing program operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing comprehensive care, supporting women across various age groups, and fostering a positive, healing environment. Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as psychoeducation, experiential, and processing
- Oversee clinical case management for clients with complex needs such as substance use disorder, trauma, failure to launch, depression, anxiety, personality disorders and disordered eating.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders and effective treatment interventions, mental health disorders and recovery, family systems and 12 step/recovery resources in the community.
- Work as a member of the clinical team for ongoing consultation, communication and collaboration
- Hold clients accountable to the program expectations.
- Understand and believe in the long term care model for helping individuals to make lasting change, and promote the importance of this organizational philosophy to clients, family members and referring professionals.
- Relevant documentation strategies including DAP notes, group notes, and Treatment planning including treatment recommendations based on a review of the client's history, signs, and symptoms.
- Knowledge of evidence based counseling modalities including ability to lesson plan and effectively deliver individual and group counseling sessions, including understanding of and experience in navigating group dynamics.
Requirements
- Masters degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Current, valid certification, registration and/or licensure from the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in one of the following: Addiction Counselor Candidate (AC-C), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Clinical Social Worker Candidate (SWC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychologist Candidate (PSYC), Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). *For the right person, we would consider a Bachelor's Degree with Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) credential.
- Preferred EMDR certification and other experiential therapeutic intervention/modality experience.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Vision, hearing, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination must be adequate for performance of job duties. Able to sit at desk, use keyboard, write and physically perform other job duties. Able to move about the facility to observe clients and staff.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification, obtain within 90 days of employment and maintain current thereafter.
- Computer skills adequate to perform word processing duties and to thoroughly document treatment in EHR.
- Proven experience in clinical counseling with expertise in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and behavioral therapy techniques.
- Strong skills in case management, patient assessment, behavior management strategies, and social work principles.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and confidentiality; proficient in maintaining accurate medical records.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and compassion while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
