Key Responsibilities
1. Present Condition Mapping
- Conduct end-to-end mapping of the Order-to-Dispatch Cycle.
- Assess the current state using the 4M framework (Man, Machine, Method, Material).
- Perform time–motion studies to identify inefficiencies.
- Analyze capacity and utilization levels across production lines.
- Document department-wise SOPs and processes.
2. Data Management System
- Identify key operational parameters for measurement and control.
- Design and implement systems for:
- Maintenance Tracking
- Individual Activity Monitoring
- Inventory Management
- Develop real-time transformation dashboards with clear KPIs.
- Ensure 100% accountability and visibility on unplanned downtime.
- Drive adoption of improvised data practices for decision-making.
3. Manpower Productivity Improvement
- Implement individual and line-wise activity monitoring for production.
- Establish productivity tracking and target setting for all workers.
- Design training programs to sustain productivity improvements.
- Achieve measurable outcomes—15–20% reduction in manpower cost.
4. Quality Management System (QMS)
- Implement a comprehensive Quality Management System.
- Set up real-time quality monitoring mechanisms.
- Track and analyze rework and defect levels continuously.
- Apply structured problem-solving (Pareto, Why–Why Analysis) to defects.
- Develop focused improvement plans for defect reduction and standardization.
5. Overall Material Flow & 5S Implementation
- Improve end-to-end material flow across departments.
- Optimize space utilization (both vertical and horizontal).
- Provide layout redesign suggestions for efficiency.
- Establish a robust 5S Audit Mechanism.
- Conduct training and capability-building sessions for operators and supervisors.
