
Continuous Improvement Sub Manager

Facilitate Lean manufacturing implementation (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban).

Lead shop-floor improvement projects with cross-functional teams.

Identify waste and areas for process optimization.
-
Support the development of standard work procedures.
-
Analyze key KPIs (OEE, cycle time, throughput, quality yield, scrap rates).
-
Prepare dashboards and reports to track improvement progress.
-
Lead structured problem-solving (8D, PDCA, A3, Fishbone).
-
Ensure corrective action plans are implemented and sustained.
-
Coach teams on problem-solving methodology.
-
Train shop-floor supervisors and operators on Lean tools and continuous improvement mindset.
-
Develop training materials and conduct workshops.
-
Plan, execute, and close process improvement projects.
-
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain on improvement initiatives.

Ensure alignment between departments and CI goals.
-
Ensure improvements are done safely and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in
Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production/Operations Management
, or related field.

Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt/Black Belt).
Experience
-
Minimum
5+ years
in manufacturing operations or continuous improvement role.
-
Textile/garment industry experience is highly preferred
.

Experience leading Lean or CI projects.
-
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodology.
-
Proficient in data analysis, performance metrics, and improvement frameworks.
-
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, QC tools).
-
Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
-
Good communication and stakeholder management.
-
Ability to drive change and influence at multiple levels.
-
MS Excel/PowerPoint (advanced for data reporting).
