Role Summary

Full-time, on-site Legal & Contracts Administrator based in Bahrain, responsible for managing legal affairs and the full lifecycle of construction and commercial contracts across Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The role covers drafting, negotiating, and administering FIDIC and bespoke agreements, overseeing procurement-related contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regional legal frameworks.

In addition to contracts, the role supports wider legal matters including corporate documentation, regulatory compliance, dispute support, and coordination with external legal counsel. The position plays a key role in risk identification (liability, LDs, payment terms, delays), claims and variations, and delivering clear legal and commercial insights to management, while ensuring accurate documentation and efficient coordination with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in legal and contracts administration within construction (KSA/Bahrain preferred)
  • Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation, and dispute processes
  • Experience with FIDIC and bespoke construction contracts
  • Ability to manage broader legal affairs (compliance, corporate documentation, external counsel coordination)
  • Experience in claims, variations, and contractual/legal correspondence
  • Familiarity with regional contracting practices and major project environments
  • Experience using legal AI platforms such as Luminance or Kira Systems
  • Formal training in structured prompting for legal and contractual applications
  • Strong written English (Arabic preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong document control and multi-project management skills
