Contract Analyst - Clinical Research

What You’ll Do

Contract Analysis & Negotiation:

Review contract templates, redline terms, and ensure agreement language meets client needs while maintaining compliance and risk mitigation.
Work closely with clients to understand critical contractual terms and requirements.
Facilitate contract negotiations with study sponsors/CROs and coordinate final contract execution.
Review protocol amendments to determine if contract amendments are required; negotiate and execute amendments when appropriate.
Develop and maintain a playbook of preferred client contract terms and acceptable edits to support consistency across negotiations.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients offering expert insights and strategic recommendations on clinical trial agreement terms.

Budget Analysis (as needed):

Develop clinical trial budgets based upon protocol, coverage analysis, contract terms and site specific requirements.
Conduct budget negotiations with sponsors on behalf of site.
Participate in client meetings and ensure high quality service delivery and client experience.
Partner with fellow analysts and client research sites to understand client needs and exceed expectations

What You'll Need:

Degree, certification or credential demonstrating formal knowledge in a legal field (e.g., paralegal certificate, JD, etc.)
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with contract redlining and negotiations, ideally for clinical trials
Familiarity with clinical trial documents including study protocols, budget materials, clinical trial agreements, etc.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work confidently with complex information
A track record of producing accurate, high-quality work and meeting deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort collaborating with multiple stakeholders
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
