JOB TITLE: Contract Attorney

REPORTS TO: Managing Attorney

FLSA: Exempt

Requirements: Duly Licensed to Practice Law in the State of California.

SUMMARY: This position is for a contract attorney handling personal injury matters as needed. This position will require the attorney to make appearances in the greater Los Angeles area with infrequent appearances in the surrounding counties. Generally appearances can be made remotely through the civil court's CourtConnect system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure case files and documents are organized and readily available.
• Utilize case management software (Filevine) to effectively organize and manage legal case files.
• Drafting legal documents and updating records of client correspondence.
• Prepare weekly reports of case management activities.
• Utilize and edit law firm templates.

Pay: $75.00 - $125.00 per hour
