Contract Attorney for Family Law

Firm is looking for a contract family law attorney with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience. Attorney will work remotely and occasionally at our downtown San Diego office and Orange County office. The cases will involve restraining orders, marriage dissolution, child custody, and other family law issues. The attorney will be responsible for handling cases in San Diego and Orange County. Responsibilities include client relations, drafting/filing pleadings, case preparation, appearing at hearings, and regular communications with firm staff. This is not your typical attorney position. The attorney will need to be able to work independently, travel to courts throughout Southern California, and be willing to learn all the ins and outs of family law work. Firm has a laid back atmosphere that at some times will seem relaxed, but other times will be extremely busy. Attorney will need to be prepared to handle a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment. Owner is hoping to find an attorney that has the skills and desire to ultimately move into a managerial role. This position could be part-time or full-time to start, however as the case volume increases you will be expected to work full time. This is a great opportunity for a junior attorney to perfect their legal skills or a seasoned attorney who wants to be part of a growing firm.

Pay: $50.00 - $80.00 per hour
