Contract Attorney (Georgia-Barred) – Fiduciary Litigation

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Georgia-barred contract attorney with 3–4 years of substantive litigation experience to assist in managing fiduciary litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and litigation support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers flexibility for remote work but requires availability for in-person client meetings, depositions, and court appearances in Georgia. There is potential for this contract role to transition into a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing.
• 3–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation, probate, fiduciary, or estate-related matters.
• Excellent legal writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a remote work environment.
• A great sense of humor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, case management systems (Clio), and online legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fiduciary litigation, including estates, trusts, or guardianships.
• Prior experience handling Georgia probate court matters.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
