  • Monitor and communicate upcoming compliance deadlines; develop mechanisms to ensure timely execution of required tasks across the business.
  • Own and maintain a firmwide compliance calendar for MBE certifications, business registrations, and other regulatory filings to prevent lapses and late submissions.
  • Develop, optimize, and oversee workflows within internal project management platforms to monitor compliance deadlines, contract milestones, and vendor deliverables.
  • Generate and present regular compliance reports and engagement tracking metrics to leadership; use data to recommend areas for improvement or mitigation.
  • Lead monthly compliance reviews of travel and expense submissions against contractual budgets, providing variance reporting and risk alerts.
  • Work closely with legal, delivery, and operations teams in contract drafting, negotiation, and execution processes to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Play a key role in standing up the firm’s federal compliance infrastructure, including developing tools, resources, and internal guidance to help delivery teams understand and execute against regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Promote a culture of compliance through guidance, training, and providing resources to internal teams on contract compliance protocols, engagement enablement procedures, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead and support firm initiatives such as the stand-up and close-out of engagements, including the development and implementation of standardized compliance plans.
  • Conduct post-engagement compliance reviews to identify gaps, lessons learned, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Champion the continuous improvement of compliance and enablement procedures by leading updates to templates, policies, SOPs, and internal guidance materials.
  • Lead and participate in special ad hoc projects that support firmwide operational priorities (e.g., process automation, compliance modernization, policy reviews, system enhancements, etc.).

What our ideal candidate looks like:

  • Background in consulting, compliance, legal operations, and/or contract management.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and manage competing priorities across diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill and present complex compliance topics to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, follow through on tasks, and hold others accountable to timelines and deliverables.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to operational excellence.

  • Experience working with or supporting government contracts, particularly at the federal level is preferred.

  • Familiarity with procurement regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and state-specific compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
