Purpose and Objectives for the Role
The Designer will work with the Head of HR to redesign and enhance internal communication materials. Over a five-day engagement, the designer will refresh visual templates, HR campaigns, and internal content to ensure communications are engaging, consistent, and aligned with Big Ticket’s brand identity.
Overall Responsibilities

Redesign internal communication templates, newsletters, and HR materials to create a consistent and modern visual identity.

Develop branded digital and print assets for use across internal channels (emails, Teams, intranet, posters, infographics, etc.).

Create visually compelling content for internal campaigns such as onboarding, engagement, policy launches, and people initiatives.

Collaborate directly with the Head of HR to align designs with company culture, tone, and messaging.

Establish a refreshed internal communications style guide that complements Big Ticket’s brand standards.

Design editable and reusable templates to support ongoing People Team communications.

Present creative concepts and design options for feedback and refinement within tight deadlines.

Ensure final assets are optimised for both digital and print use.

Support ad-hoc design requests related to HR-led events, engagement initiatives, or company-wide announcements.
Skills Required

Proven experience in design, ideally within corporate or internal communications settings.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva.

Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and brand consistency.

Ability to transform written HR content into visually engaging and easy-to-digest communication pieces.

Excellent time management and organisation, with ability to deliver within short project timelines.

Highly creative, detail-oriented, and open to feedback.

Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working independently under direction.
Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Design, Visual Communication, or related field.

Professional design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative, brand-aligned design work.
