Overview
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Engineering Recruiter with a background in the staffing industry to support high-priority hiring needs across multiple technical disciplines. This is a contract, commission-based opportunity designed for a recruiter who thrives in a performance-driven environment and is confident managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
This role is ideal for someone who has prior agency experience, understands the pace of contingent and direct hire recruiting, and can operate independently while delivering high-quality talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 5+ open engineering requisitions simultaneously across various industries (manufacturing, energy, semiconductor, etc.)
- Source, screen, and qualify candidates across multiple engineering disciplines (e.g., electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing)
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and role requirements
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and clients throughout the hiring process
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified engineering talent
- Utilize creative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking)
- Ensure a high level of candidate experience and professionalism
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in staffing/agency recruiting (required)
- Proven success recruiting for engineering or technical roles
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation Structure
- This is a commission-based contract role
- Primary earnings are driven by placements and performance
- We offer initial support for the first 6 months to help ramp up (details to be discussed), with the expectation of transitioning into a fully commission-driven structure
