NPower is seeking a grant writer to support the growing needs of the development team. Reporting to a Sr. Grant Writer, this position will support the team through coordinating and drafting grant proposals and reports. This is an excellent opportunity to regularly work on six and seven-figure grant opportunities within an organization that is undergoing tremendous growth.
Responsibilities

Develop, write, and submit LOIs, proposals, and reportsto prospectiveand existingfundersas assigned

Maintainproposal andreportdocumentationusing the Salesforce CRMand track all reporting deadlines.

Work closely withprogram, finance, andadministrativestaff to gatherrequireddata for proposals and reporting

Update grant narratives to ensure they reflect the community needs, program descriptions, and targeted outcomes

Support otherNPowerfundraising activities as needed
Qualifications

Excellent writing and proofreading skills

Ability to describe complex concepts or programs in concise yet impactful terms

2-5 yearsofgovernment, foundation, and/or corporategrant writing experience

Track recordsecuringgrant awards forsix-figure+grants

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail,accuracyand pacing

Proven ability to implement program data and other supporting research into grant requests

Knowledge of fundraising information sources and research tools

Fundraising experiencefor one or more of the following fields strongly preferred: workforce development,opportunity young adults,veteransand their families

Ability to work independently while also taking explicit direction from supervisor

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,and PowerPoint

Knowledge of Salesforce ornonprofitCRM database is preferred

Bachelor’s degree preferred
This role is scheduled for Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with occasional variations based on business needs.
