Contract Graphic Designer (On-site)

Zlan Creations is seeking a highly skilled and proven Contract Graphic Designer to join our team on-site. This is a project-based, contractual role requiring demonstrable expertise in product packaging, high-quality print collateral, and advanced digital asset creation.

Only candidates with a minimum of 2 TO 3 years of professional experience or freelance design experience in a relevant field will be considered. No freshers or entry-level applications, please.

Location: Mandatory On-Site at our Kochi Office.

Contract Length: 2-4 weeks

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will function as a self-directed senior creative, managing complex projects from concept to final production handoff.

• Packaging Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, development, and delivery of production-ready files for all product packaging, labels, and structural designs, ensuring compliance and maximizing shelf appeal.
• Advanced Print Production: Design and finalize high-stakes print materials (brochures, large-format signage, campaign collateral), serving as the primary liaison with external printers to manage color, pre-press, and quality control.
• Digital Asset Mastery: Create sophisticated digital content, including web graphics, ad campaigns, and branded video assets, optimized for performance and consistency across all online channels.
• In-House Collaboration: Work intensively and collaboratively with marketing, product development, and leadership teams on-site, providing creative rationale and design expertise.
• Quality & Compliance: Maintain absolute fidelity to brand guidelines and technical specifications for all digital and physical deliverables.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this contract role, you must meet the following mandatory criteria:

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of full-time, professional experience in a graphic design role focused on packaging and print production.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and a strong command of modern design tools.
• Portfolio Demonstration: A robust, professional portfolio that clearly showcases success in designing and executing complex packaging projects, high-end print jobs, and cohesive digital campaigns.
• Production Fluency: In-depth, verifiable knowledge of pre-press, die-line creation, color management (CMYK, Pantone), and digital optimization for development handoff.
• Communication: Proven ability to present, defend, and iterate on complex design concepts in a fast-paced corporate environment.
