Contract Litigation Paralegal

Santa Barbara law firm seeks an experienced California-based contract Litigation Paralegal to start ASAP. We are a personal injury defense firm with a busy litigation practice, which has recently increased.

If you are a litigation paralegal, you know what the job entails. We will also seriously consider candidates with demonstrable litigation support experience comparable to that of a litigation paralegal.

NEEDED: Experience summarizing initial claims file materials, medical records, discovery responses and document productions and deposition; drafting motions to be finalized by attorney, responding to discovery; drafting status reports and updates to clients; preparation of Medical Chronologies; assisting attorneys with trial preparation in all counties in Southern and Central CA and some Northern California Counties; analytical ability and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Candidates must be fluent in Microsoft Word and Outlook. Familiarity with Lexis research programs and Adobe are a plus.
