Job summary

The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing all contract-related activities in the Ports and Tunnels sector, ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards while optimizing project delivery and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure clarity, feasibility, and compliance with legal and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks in contract terms and conditions, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while maximizing project outcomes.
• Contract Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all parties adhere to the contract terms, timeframes, and budgetary constraints, and address deviations as necessary.
• Change Order Management: Manage and process contract changes, amendments, and variations, ensuring all changes are documented and approved as per the established protocols.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary point of contact between the company and external stakeholders regarding contract-related matters and inquiries.
• Software Proficiency: MS-Office, Microsoft Project

Key Requirements

• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the Ports or Tunnels sectors.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or relevant field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess and interpret complex contract documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage contract negotiations and stakeholder communications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Professional certification in Contract Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,400,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
