Position Summary:
The Contract Manager works to facilitate and maintain a central repository for all contracts and legal documents having an impact on the operations of Medical Center Health System. This position will serve as the system administrator for the electronic contract management system. Will establish and develop contract system policies and procedures. The Contract Manger will be responsible for integrity and security of information stored in the system by establishing internal controls and monitoring. Is responsible for training all personnel directly and indirectly involved in contract negotiations/renewals processes in policies and procedures pertinent to the electronic contract system. Generates and prepares contract status reports, financial reports, HIPAA/Compliance Reports and Action Lists as required for distribution to Executive Officers, Hospital Board and Department Heads. This position serves as the liaison between the Compliance Office and other internal and external customers of MCHS, and users on the contract system. Demonstrates good stewardship through continuous improvement in operating efficiency.
Qualifications:
A. Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
B. Training and Experience:
Must be comfortable talking with and training all levels of management.
Must be able to demonstrate computer literacy. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Contract Management preferred.
B. Job Knowledge:
Have at least 5 years of verifiable experience in coordinating programs.
VI. Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
1. Must be able to work long hours at a computer.
