We specialize in Caribbean music and are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional to help us navigate the business and legal aspects of the music world.

Contract Management Assist with the creation, execution, and maintenance of paperwork tied to the department, such as deal memos, contracts, and financial documentation.

Financial Coordination: Collaborate closely with accounting to guarantee proper contract execution and timely payment. Handle the invoicing process for contractual fees.

Music Rights & Licensing: Oversee music rights clearance and issue mechanical licenses as required.

Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of the Business Affairs department.

Research: Undertake research projects as directed, contributing to the department's continuous learning and improvement.

Document Management: Maintain and manage department files, ensuring they're accessible, up-to-date, and well-organized in both digital and physical formats.

Communication: Act as the primary contact for the department, addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with basic legal terms, especially within the realm of entertainment contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple high-priority projects with precision.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective research abilities.
- A genuine passion for or interest in Reggae music.
Experience
A minimum of one year in the music industry, either as a full-time employee or an intern.
