Contract Mortgage Processor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Processor to join our team. As a Mortgage Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing and verifying loan applications, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and facilitating the mortgage loan process from application to closing.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze loan applications to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Verify borrower information, including employment, income, credit history, and assets
- Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to gather necessary documentation and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval
- Coordinate with title companies, appraisers, and other third parties to obtain necessary documentation for loan closing
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the loan process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan transactions

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Processor or in a similar role within the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan origination processes and procedures
- Familiarity with escrow, underwriting, and credit analysis
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: $45,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
