Responsibilities would include;
- Monitor and audit contractor construction activities to ensure compliance with site safety procedures and policies
- Function as main point of contact for project field activities
- Monitor and manage project costs and expenditures
- Assist in equipment, materials and service procurement
- Develop project schedules that involve multiple disciplines and contractors
- Daily planning, communication and coordination of contractor activities with site operations and maintenance
- Inspect and monitor quality of work performed by contractors to meet design requirements
- Participate in project planning and design reviews
- Attend site communication meetings to report activity updates and schedule progress
- Resolve emerging issues that that are encountered during contractor activities
- Manage and completion of P&ID’s and other existing drawings and manage records of revisions using AutoCAD
- Participate and assist in project scope development and design
- Design piping for smaller capital projects in Plant 3d, Navisworks, and Recap
- Manage design transmittals with external engineering contractors and review active designs
Requirements;
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and rules
- Equipment and materials procurement experience preferred
- Estimating knowledge and experience
- Past working experience in construction / contractor management
- Ability to develop project schedules and estimates
- AutoCAD and drafting experience
- Understanding of construction processes and details
- Good time and project management skills
- Plant 3D and experience 3d scanning and designing using point clouds
