Contract Specialist (English/Spanish)

Lopez & Freshwater PLLC is a boutique immigration law firm located in Richardson, Texas. We are passionate about protecting immigrants' rights and believe that all immigrants deserve to have an attorney who will offer honest and effective legal advice and services. We seek to hire a bilingual (Spanish/English) Contract Specialist. As a small firm, we emphasize a collegial, team-oriented environment in which our staff is consistently assisting us in identifying ways to offer better services to our clients and to improve our office management.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and execute Client-Attorney Agreements and billing forms

• Generate invoices, manage payment plans, and follow up on collections

• Communicate and meet with potential clients

• Photocopy and scan client documents

• Fingerprint clients and support fingerprinting needs for legal teams

• Create and manage both digital and physical client files

• Handle data entry in Clio, DocketWise, LawPay, and Microsoft 365

• Provide interpretation support between attorneys and potential clients when needed

• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Requires applicant to be fluent in Spanish and English, including both oral and written language skills

• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task when necessary

• Requires competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows 8 and ability to learn other immigration specific systems as needed

Benefits:

• Medical insurance is eligible after 60 days

• 10 days accrued PTO per year (PTO increases with seniority)

• Associate (Preferred)
