SHOPIFY POS EXPERT

(Operations and Training; No Development)

We are seeking an experienced Shopify POS Expert to support in‑store setup, workflow validation, hardware testing, and staff readiness for a retail store moving to Shopify. This role requires hands‑on, in‑store collaboration to ensure our POS environment is fully functional, efficient, and aligned with real retail operations.

POS SetUp/Process Workflows:

• Assist with POS Setup, Validation & Troubleshooting
• Validate full Shopify POS setup with the store manager
• Walk through backup payment workflows
• Test and confirm offline mode functionality
• Configure and perform hardware troubleshooting
• Validate receipt printer, barcode scanner, and card reader performance
• Conduct inventory adjustment workflows
• Walk through refund and exchange scenarios end‑to‑end
• Walk‑through of receiving store merchandise, including proper intake, tagging, and syncing to Shopify inventory

Facilitated Training:

• Ability to provide clear documentation, quick‑reference guides, or SOPs
• Ability to run staff training sessions (group and 1:1) of process workflows needed to perform job functions

Required Skill Set:

• Proven experience with Shopify POS (not just online store development)
• Familiarity with Shopify POS Pro features and configuration
• Strong understanding of retail operations, preferably footwear/apparel
• Strong understanding of retail workflows and omnichannel operations
• Comfort with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and in‑store testing
• Clear communication and ability to collaborate with store leadership

Pay: $25.67 - $37.50 per hour
