Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Dallas-based contract videographer and editor to assist with ongoing client projects. This role involves filming on location, capturing still photography when needed, and handling post-production editing.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently on shoots, managing equipment, and delivering well-organized, high-quality media assets.

This position begins as a contract role, with the potential to transition into a full-time salaried position after a six-month evaluation period, depending on performance and project demand.

Responsibilities

• Film professional video content on-site for client productions
• Capture 4K video at 60fps
• Take still photographs during shoots when needed
• Record clear and usable audio for interviews and ambient environments
• Edit videos and short-form clips for marketing and social media use
• Deliver organized project files and meet established deadlines
• Maintain clear and professional communication with the team

Equipment Requirements (Required)

• Camera capable of recording 4K at 60fps
• Gimbal for stabilized footage
• Audio equipment (lav mic and/or shotgun microphone)
• Ability to upload and transfer footage promptly after shoots

Preferred but Not Required

• Drone with Part 107 certification

Qualifications

• Experience with videography and basic to intermediate editing
• Comfortable filming branded or commercial-style content
• Professional and reliable when working at client locations
• Organized and able to manage shoots independently
• Must be located in Dallas, TX
