Who is Mak Rentals?

A locally owned real estate company focusing on short term and long term rental properties. Mak Rentals purchases distressed homes typically, completely remodels them with high quality finishes and rents them either as a long term rental or Airbnb. We also are starting to do new builds. We are a licensed General Contractor in NC centered in Statesville, NC but with job sites all around Lake Norman, Denver, Mt. Holly and other areas.

What are job responsibilities of this position?

Painting- we have almost all the tools to paint but painting inside & outside is a constant need
Plumbing work
Electrical work
Drywall
HVAC repair- if you are a licensed HVAC contractor, pay is increased $5/hour
Landscaping
Concrete installation
Fully setting up house (beds, furniture, curtains, etc...)
Carpentry/Framing
Everything and anything for inside & outside housing.

What are requirements and recommendations to be hired?

Physical ability to work outside and lift up to 50 lbs. If you have a bad back, bad knees or injuries that prevent you from carrying heavy loads, this job wouldn't be a good fit.
Clean driving record and ability to drive work truck and trailer as needed.

Detail oriented. Be able to remember instructions and follow them.
Initiative- find an issue and fix it.
Humility- willingness to do whatever is needed
Flexibility- ability to change plans as needed.
Flexibility to Travel- work will be mostly located in the north Charlotte area of Statesville, NC but will also include areas like Gastonia, Mt. Holly, Mooresville etc… may be needed. Having reliable transportation is needed.

Job is full time (40 hours per week) and hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4 pm.

You will need to pass a drug test and have a background check. Most major tools are provided but you must provide your own general and everyday tools such as drill, hammer, tape measure, etc...

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
