Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

The main purpose of the Contracts Administrator - 1’s job is to assist and support the Contract team in preparing contracts, claim reports, contractual correspondences and subcontract's invoice as per the Company’s guidelines

  • Conduct affairs with the highest standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety and corporate governance.
  • Ensure compliance with Code of Ethics policy and adopting company values.
  • Adopt and utilize systems and ERP in the function.
  • Assist the Senior Contracts Administrator in preparing contracts’ status reports for Project and Contract Managers.
  • Assist in the contractual part of the claim report.
  • Assist in the negotiation of changes, modifications, and claims with Client / Engineer, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Draft contractual correspondences with client / engineer, subcontractors / suppliers.
  • Oversee the subcontractors’ / suppliers' performance and compare to the contractual requirements.
  • Maintain a neat filing system for all contract documents.
  • Verify the subcontract's final invoice and all its associated pre-requisites under the agreement.
  • Identify and validate the merits of any deductions in the subcontractor's final invoice.
  • Assist on the closure of Main Contract / Subcontracts / Supply agreements in a satisfactory manner as per department's procedures.
  • Coordinate and provide contractual support to the Commercial team.
  • As needed and following management approval, act as a Senior Contracts Administrator and provide active support to the Contracts Manager.
  • Assist the Senior Contracts Administrator in other contractual tasks and assignments as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor in Engineering or in Law
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Contracts Administration
  • Familiarity with KSA Contract Law, Government Tenders and Procurement Law and standard contracts
  • Knowledge of FIDIC and other International Forms of Contract and their application
  • Excellent numerical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites
  • Experience in the Middle East is a strong plus
  • Good ability in analyzing and solving issues effectively
  • A robust collaborator and effective team player
  • Delivery-oriented professional with proven records of delivering success
  • Well-versed in written and oral communication
