Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Contracts and Cost Control Manager to oversee all contractual and financial aspects of our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, controlling project costs, minimizing financial risks, and ensuring overall commercial efficiency across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards
  • Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage contract variations, claims, and dispute resolution

Cost Control & Financial Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans
  • Monitor project expenditures and analyze cost variances
  • Implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budget
  • Prepare periodic cost reports and financial summaries

Risk & Claims Management

  • Identify contractual and financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Evaluate and manage claims, change orders, and variations
  • Support dispute resolution processes when required

Procurement & Commercial Support

  • Assist in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and contract awards
  • Review commercial terms and pricing strategies
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement and subcontracting

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, finance, and procurement teams
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Ensure alignment between contract obligations and project execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering ( preferably Civil)
  • Minimum 15–20 years of experience in contracts and cost control, preferably in construction, EPC, or oil & gas industries
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, FIDIC contracts, and commercial practices
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
  • Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Proficiency in cost control tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, Primavera)
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as MRICS, PMP, or equivalent
  • Experience working on large-scale or international projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED35,000.00 per month
