We’re hiring a highly experienced Contracts Manager to join Gama, overseeing contract governance and commercial risk management across our construction and O&M projects. This role is ideal for a senior professional with deep expertise in contract drafting, claims, negotiation, and administration within large-scale project environments.

Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of contractual and commercial operations for Gama’s projects. This includes reviewing client contract drafts prior to signing, managing ongoing contract obligations, leading commercial claims preparation, drafting subcontracts and supplier agreements, and ensuring that all contractual activities meet corporate, legal, and project standards. The role requires fluency in Arabic and English, strong legal and commercial acumen, and proven leadership abilities to guide a team of contract administration specialists and represent Gama in client meetings.



Key Responsibilities

·        Review and evaluate client contract drafts prior to signature and provide comments, risks, and recommendations to executive management.

·        Manage and administer existing project contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.

·        Prepare, submit, and negotiate commercial claims, variations, and contractual notices.

·        Draft, prepare, and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.

·        Lead and mentor a team of Contract Administrators and Commercial Specialists.

·        Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve contractual and commercial matters.

·        Support executive management in contractual negotiations, risk assessment, and commercial strategy.

·        Maintain proper documentation, correspondence, and contract records in compliance with company procedures.

·        Coordinate with legal counsel to ensure proper interpretation and risk mitigation.



Qualifications & Requirements

·        More than 20 years of experience in contract management within the construction or infrastructure sectors.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Law, Contract/Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

·        Strong expertise in contract drafting, claims preparation, negotiation, and contract lifecycle administration.

·        Fluent in Arabic with strong command of English.

·        Proven leadership experience managing contract administration teams.

·        Strong communication, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills.

·        Experience attending and representing the company in client and consultant meetings.
