Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and administer construction contracts (Item Rate, EPC, Lump Sum, Turnkey).
  • Ensure compliance with GCC, SCC, BOQs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Manage RA bills, final bills, extra items, deviations, and variations.
  • Handle Extension of Time (EOT), escalation, LD, and contractual claims.
  • Coordinate with project, QS, finance, legal, and consultants on contractual matters.
  • Monitor bank guarantees, retention money, advances, and insurance policies.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (Indian Contract Act, labour laws, GST on works contracts).
  • Maintain contract documentation, correspondence, and MIS reports.
  • Support dispute resolution, arbitration, and audits.

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Indian construction contracts (CPWD/PWD/Private).
  • Expertise in rate analysis (DSR/SSR), claims, and variation management.
  • Negotiation, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Certification in Contracts / Construction Law (preferred).

Experience

  • 8–15 years of experience in construction contract & commercial management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
