Contracts Manager - Commercial Phase

Contractual Support: Analyze, draft, and negotiate terms in client, partner, vendor, and subcontractor agreements, strictly following Saipem guidelines.

  • Risk Strategies: Propose contract risk strategies during business acquisition to minimize risks and optimize opportunities.
  • Negotiation: Explore solutions and alternatives during contract negotiation in the commercial phase.

Key Tasks

  • Manage and coordinate all contract management activities.
  • Review and draft contractual documents, define clauses, and participate in negotiations.
  • Identify optimal contractual solutions and risk profiles for the company.
  • Support commercial functions in contract risk assessments (Golden Rules, Silver Guidelines).
  • Develop professional competences and manage staffing for contract management.
  • Apply Saipem standards and guidelines.
  • Provide necessary reports to internal clients.
  • Collect and share lessons learned and feedback.
  • Ensure contractual risk transfer to vendors and subcontractors.
  • Support negotiation of loans, guarantees, and indemnity letters.
  • Assist the Project Contract Manager and review regulatory requirements.
  • Update partner agreements and coordinate documentation.
  • Contribute to legal management of preliminary litigation activities.
