About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contracts Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractual, commercial, and cost-related aspects of construction and engineering projects from tender stage through project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, administer, and manage construction contracts and subcontracts
• Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and payment applications
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor quotations
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project requirements
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams
• Assist in procurement and commercial negotiations
• Prepare progress reports, commercial reports, and final accounts
• Handle contractual correspondence and maintain proper documentation
• Support project teams on contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in construction and engineering projects
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial management, and cost control
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration
• Experience in handling claims, variations, and final accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying/commercial management software
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Experience in consultancy and/or contracting environment
• Membership in a recognized professional body is an advantage
