Our client, a well-established and growing Building Services provider, is looking to recruit an experienced Contracts & Small Works Manager to join their Northern team based in Halifax.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong HVAC, Mechanical Services or Hard FM background who can manage existing contracts, oversee small works projects, and build strong client relationships.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial service contracts while delivering small works projects up to £50,000 from quotation through to completion.

Projects may include:

• Boiler replacements
• Plant room upgrades
• Air conditioning installations
• Chiller replacements
• HVAC upgrades

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial maintenance and service contracts
• Oversee planned, reactive and quoted works
• Price and deliver small works projects
• Manage engineers, subcontractors and suppliers
• Build strong client relationships
• Control project costs and commercial performance
• Carry out site visits and progress meetings
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance standards are met
• Identify new business and additional works opportunities

About You

• Previous experience in a Contracts Manager / Small Works / Projects role
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC / Building Services / Hard FM
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors
• Good commercial awareness and organisational skills
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• Air Conditioning / Chiller experience
• Commercial Gas / Combustion knowledge
• Framework contract experience
