Contract Position Overview
I Advance Senior Care is seeking an experienced contributing writer with deep knowledge of the senior care industry. This is an opportunity to write for a highly engaged audience of senior care leaders and decision-makers and influence conversations that shape the future of long-term care.
The writer is responsible for delivering 6 original, reported articles per month — from the initial pitch to the final product. Writers must be comfortable balancing multiple assignments simultaneously and consistently meeting editorial deadlines.
We’re looking for a writer who can translate complex regulatory, clinical, financial, and operational topics into clear, practical, and actionable insights for busy professionals.
You’ll cover a wide range of topics, including:
· Assisted living and skilled nursing operations
· Clinical best practices and quality improvement
· Regulatory and compliance developments
· Workforce recruitment, retention, and leadership
· Technology adoption and innovation
· Risk management
· Resident engagement and person-centered care
· Market trends and industry outlook
Assignments may include reported features, expert interviews, analysis pieces, Q&As, trend overviews, and thought leadership articles.
I Advance Senior Care also produces webinars for this audience, often featuring a panel of speakers from senior care facilities and vendor partners. Writer will have the opportunity to include articles that build on webinar presentations, summarize panel discussions, and do deeper dives.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate
· You’re passionate about the senior care industry and storytelling.
