Controlled Substance Compliance Officer

Do you have a background in law enforcement or drug diversion investigations? Are you looking for a role where your work directly protects communities and supports independent pharmacies?

We’re seeking a Controlled Substance Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Conduct pharmacy site visits for compliance, education, and due diligence.
• Monitor controlled substance orders in our Suspicious Order Monitoring (SOM) program.
• Advise and educate pharmacists on DEA regulations and best practices.
• Partner with regulators and law enforcement to ensure compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior law enforcement experience required; drug diversion experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DEA regulations, controlled substance schedules, and pharmacy operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience

Preferred

• Drug diversion investigation experience
• Familiarity with DEA regulations
• Familiarity with controlled substance schedules, abuse potential, cocktails, and red flags.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations
