Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to oversee all aspects of our accounting operations. The Controller will be responsible for managing financial reporting, implementing internal controls, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency within the finance function.
• Partner with company partners to support financial planning, cost management, and business performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Proficiency with accounting software and Quickbooks; advanced Excel skills required.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and growing organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Projected Total Compensation: $80,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
