Impact Housing, a B2B manufacturer of residential modular homes, is looking to hire a Controller to support all financial back-office operations. The Controller will manage accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable and procurement. Additionally, the Controller will support the Purchasing Manager with purchase order management using the firm’s robust accounting system – NetSuite. The Controller will team up with functional owners: Senior Controller, Systems Engineer and Purchasing Manager to support continuous improvements towards the strategic and operational objectives set by the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical adjustments. Review contracts, budgets, spending reports, and logistics data to develop a comprehensive overview of plant expenses.
  • Use analysis of NetSuite software and projection models to estimate future costs and financial changes related to new projects and different objectives.
  • Enhance accounting department's use of software and integrates software into accounting processes and procedures.
  • Inventory, asset and purchasing improvements.
  • Manage all vendor and client accounting needs including invoices, payments, purchase orders.
  • Work closely with Impact’s Atlanta based accounting team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant Accounting, Controller, or Advanced Bookkeeping work.
  • NetSuite experience a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn NetSuite.
  • Excellent communications skills, including preparing presentations and working with managers to explain and implement new strategies.
  • Must be willing to work on site, not remote, in Baxley, GA at Impact’s manufacturing plant.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Accounting, Controller or Cost: 3 years (Preferred)
