About Us
Klein Automation & Electric Inc. is a growing Electrical Contractor in the Oil and Gas industry, a privately held company generating approximately $50 million in annual revenue. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and help guide the company through its next phase of growth.
Position Summary
The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business. This individual will provide strategic financial leadership, drive operational efficiency, and ensure the long-term financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all financial functions, including accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, and tax.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to executive leadership
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes
- Oversee cash flow management, capital structure, and financing strategies
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and compliance procedures
- Partner with department leaders to drive performance and profitability
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or expansion opportunities
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external advisors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior-level roles
- Experience in companies with $25M–$100M in revenue preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial strategy, reporting, and compliance
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience with growth-stage companies, scaling operations, or process improvement is a plus.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities
