Meredith Vantage is a growing advisory and accounting firm based in Las Colinas. We work with entrepreneurs, privately held companies, and high-net-worth families. Our focus is simple: do good work, give clients real insight, and build a team that actually enjoys coming to work.

We are adding one, possibly two Controllers to the team. One role will support our fractional CFO practice, working directly with clients. The other will focus internally on accounting and bookkeeping operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on accounting role for someone who knows how to own the numbers and keep things clean. You will be trusted to manage financials, support leadership, and bring structure where it’s needed.

Depending on the seat, you will either:

• Work directly with clients alongside our fractional CFO team, or
• Own internal accounting and bookkeeping for the firm

What You’ll Do

• Manage monthly close and maintain accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements
• Handle general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking
• Assist with process improvements and reporting visibility
• Work closely with leadership to ensure financial clarity
• For client-facing role: act as a key financial contact for multiple clients

What We’re Looking For

• Public accounting background required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience owning the close process
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Able to operate independently without constant oversight
• Strong attention to detail without overcomplicating things
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems preferred
