Controller

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This pivotal role involves overseeing accounting functions, managing budgets, and supporting project financials within outoodr living brand. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Quickbooks Desktop, inventory, accounting processes and wholesale pricing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage budgets, create pricing analysis based on inventory and related costing
• Month end close and financial reporting to the CEO
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit/loss statements, and budget variance reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory reconciliations and other GL account reconciliations
• Manage bookkeeper and build relationship with management
• Support contract negotiations by providing detailed financial analysis and risk assessments related to construction projects

Experience

• Proven experience as a senior accounting and finance person and/or Controller level responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of Quickbooks (specifically desktop would be amazing)
• Experience with inventory
• Financial analysis and inquisitive
• Strong work ethic and detail oriented
• Ability to work in office 3-4 days per week

Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
