Job Summary: We are currently seeking a senior-level accounting professional for a Controller position. This candidate shall be responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, internal controls and management of staff when applicable. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical and detail-oriented to manage our day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and send accurate client invoices
• Review and maintain invoice work instructions for assigned projects
• Reconcile invoice total with project data
• Maintain and update financial records
• Collaborate with project managers to align billing with project scope and milestones
• Enter data and manage spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
• Assist with collections
• Support monthly close and reporting processes
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve billing issues
• Assist with audits and ad hoc financial projects
• Administrative tasks
• Responsible for Sales Tax filings in States of operation
• Registering Corporation is States of operation

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field 5 years of relevant billing, bookkeeping, or accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using Sage or other accounting software (a plus, not required)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Pay: $85,216.81 - $102,626.70 per year
