We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance activities, while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate data analysis. Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability using construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid or similar software.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets that support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
• Utilize construction management software like ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and Project scheduling tools to track project progress and financial performance.
• Conduct regular audits of project costs and contracts to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Lead the integration of project schedules with financial data to optimize resource allocation and project delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with project teams on contract negotiations, change orders, and schematic reviews to ensure financial accuracy and risk mitigation.
• Provide mentorship to finance staff while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Support project coordination efforts by ensuring timely reporting of financial metrics aligned with project milestones.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader within the construction industry or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or equivalent platforms.
• Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera P6), Civil 3D, and related tools for project scheduling and management.
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts management, and construction site operations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict time management discipline.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and on-site construction processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments including project management teams, contractors, and clients. Pay: $121,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
