CONTROLLER ASSISTANT-SUPPLY CHAIN

YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Controller Assistant with strong data, financial, and supply chain analytical capabilities to support our Material Supply Chain organization. This role blends financial controlling, data analysis, automation development, and continuous improvement to enhance cost visibility, improve material profitability, and increase operational efficiency across procurement, planning, and logistics.
The ideal candidate brings a solid understanding of supply chain financials (material cost structures, PPV, inventory valuation, savings tracking, BOM financial integrity) combined with advanced technical skills to build tools and digital solutions that elevate decision-making.
You will design, build, and maintain analytical models, financial dashboards, and automation tools that support material cost control, sourcing strategies, and spend optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial & Supply Chain Data Analysis
Analyze material cost structures, BOM rollups, supplier pricing, PPV (Purchase Price Variance), and cost changes.
Support material profitability and contribution margin analysis, including cost to serve and sourcing scenario modeling.
Develop financial performance reports for procurement (savings, negotiation performance, inflation/deflation impact).
Track, consolidate, and validate savings targets, ensuring financial alignment with FP&A and Procurement.
Dashboards, Reporting & Visibility
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to track material spend, supplier performance, cost evolution, and inventory KPIs.
Develop automated reports integrating ERP data for actual vs. standard cost, PPV monitoring, and forecast accuracy.
Guarantee data quality and consistency between procurement, finance, and supply chain systems.
Automation & Tool Development
Develop automation solutions using VBA, Excel Macros, Python, and JavaScript to streamline financial and operational reporting.
Build tools for reporting and dashboards
Process Improvement & Digitalization

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis, supply chain analytics, and/or automation development.
Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, financial dashboards) and Excel (VBA, Macros)
Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI, Monday through Friday
Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
PREFERRED
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), especially MM, PP, CO modules.
Knowledge of standard costing, PPV analysis, cost rollups, and manufacturing financial flows.
Familiarity with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) or RPA (UiPath, Power Automate).
Python (pandas, numpy, automation scripts), JavaScript, SQL for data extraction and modelling
Knowledge of supply chain processes: procurement, demand planning, inventory management, logistics.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
