As client demand continues to grow, we are expanding our delivery infrastructure to support a select portfolio of advisory clients.

The Role

We are seeking a Controller-level professional (part-time, ~20 hours/week) to support recurring financial operations across a small portfolio of established clients. This role sits directly beneath CFO-level advisory and owns the integrity, structure, and consistency of financial reporting. This is not a transactional bookkeeping role. It is designed for someone who values clean financials, disciplined processes, and meaningful business impact — without the demands of a traditional corporate schedule.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process across assigned clients
• Ensure accurate, GAAP-aligned financial statements
• Prepare and maintain KPI reporting packages
• Develop and manage 13-week cash flow reporting
• Identify and improve financial reporting structure
• Collaborate with firm leadership on client delivery
• Support financial visibility for decision-making

Ideal Profile

• 7–15 years of accounting/finance experience
• Strong GAAP foundation
• Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or Accounting Manager experience
• Experience in small-to-mid-sized businesses
• Comfortable in client-facing environments
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Thrives in an autonomous, high-trust environment

Structure & Flexibility

• Approximately 20 hours per week
• Mostly remote (other than for training and quarterly meetings)
• Flexible scheduling based on client needs
• Designed as a long-term part-time role, with the ability to expand hours over time if desired

Compensation & Benefits

• ~$40,000 annualized base salary (for ~20-hour work week)
