Controls Engineer

Keithly Electric is seeking a Controls Engineer to work as an integral member of our team. We are a diverse team of collaborators, problem-solvers, engineers and technicians who are committed to a culture of safety first.

Responsibilities include:

Logic design

PLC & HMI programming/development

Field installation of Control Devices, Motors, VFD's and PLC

Check out and start-up on projects

Required Skills:

Min Experience – 5 years

Knowledge of Logic design and PLC I/O development

Allen Bradley Factory Talk & Studio 5000 (Rockwell Toolkit)

Process, Batch, PID and motion control

Ladder and Function Block Logic programming

Troubleshooting- PLC, Relay, Controls

Field Device Wiring

NEC Code Knowlegde

Development of control narratives and manuals (technical writing)

Drafting of panel and control drawings (ACAD)

Networking – Ethernet, Modbus, ProfiNet, RS-232/485

Ability to learn, design & deploy network based PLC/HMI applications

Strong customer management skills

Strong communications skills

Clean driving record

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
