The Control Systems Engineer will work with the Huntersville Operations Team to provide quality support to the day-to-day business of all electrical needs for the production area. Research, design, and management of the development of the equipment used to monitor and control systems for production and service equipment. The Control System Engineer should have a passion for automation, controls, PLC Programming, HMI create Telematics, Radio Remote Controls, and Electrification of Mobile Machines. What You Will Do: Daily duties of the role include but are not limited to –
- Development and construction of controls.
- Research, design, and management of control systems.
- Definition of control algorithms and selection of tools.
- Development of hardware and software for control equipment.
- Control and maintenance of existing controls.
- Develop, write, and optimize PLC, HMI, Vision and Robot programs.
- Ensuring that the process works safely and efficiently in accordance with specifications.
- Develop software that meets specific needs or solves a particular problem.
- Modify existing systems and improve them to make them safer, more efficient, and more economical.
- Analyze plant processes, design, and implement improvements.
- Plan preventative maintenance within the controls.
- Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
- Maintain quality and safety standards are upheld.

Good presentation skills, both customer level, and formal training level.
Basic Hydraulic Systems.
Closed and Open Loop Motion Control.
PLC’s, Motion Controllers, HMI’s, Network Protocols, Vision Systems.
Minimum Requirements:
4-7+ years of experience with Mobile/Industrial electronics design with PLC and HMI programming.
Advanced PC computer skills.
Knowledge of HAWE products and systems including all HAWE software.
Good fluid power application and troubleshooting skills.
