Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with professionalism.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, shelves, and displays to ensure an inviting store environment.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and manage inventory levels to keep merchandise fresh and appealing.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging displays and signage to highlight promotions or new products.
• Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication at all times.

Experience

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse customer needs.
• Supervising experience in retail or customer service roles is advantageous for growth opportunities.
• Strong communication skills combined with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions and inventory management.
• Experience in grocery stores or convenience retail environments helps in understanding store operations and customer expectations.
