Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our store meets its sales goals while providing a positive shopping experience for customers.

Duties

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Manage all aspects of store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and pricing.
• Oversee employee orientation, training, and development to ensure a knowledgeable and skilled workforce.
• Conduct interviews and participate in the recruiting process to build a strong team.
• Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock levels.
• Supervise daily activities including cashiering, stocking, and shift management.
• Utilize retail math skills for budgeting, sales management, and financial reporting.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote store initiatives and drive sales.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager with supervisory experience.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and merchandising.
• Proficient in using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
• Solid understanding of retail sales principles, along with experience in grocery store operations preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
